Finding Opportunities Where Others See Risks

Client: DNV GL

While working as Project Director at Monday Morning, I was lead developer of the Global Opportunity Report and Network and headed the project in the critical first year before passing it on. Together with the team at Monday Morning Global Institute, I developed a truly global project combining expert/stakeholder workshops in eight cities on five continents and a global survey of private and public sector leaders to create insights on which strategies are best to combat global challenges such as Water Scarcity, Non-Communicable Diseases, Extreme Weather, Lock-in to Fossil Fuels and Unsustainable Urbanization.

The project is developed in collaboration with DNV GL and UN Global Compact. It is aimed at changing the perception of sustainability as a threat to life and business as we know it into an opportunity to build a more fair and sustainable future. The report is the first step of an international movement aimed at created action and collaboration for a more sustainable future. I am still acting as an advisor to the new management of the project.
